A dental implant is a small titanium post that's placed into the jawbone where a tooth is missing. Over several months the bone bonds with the implant, creating a stable foundation. Then we attach a custom crown — made in our in-house lab — that looks and functions like a natural tooth.

Our in-house lab advantage
Most dental offices send implant work to an outside lab, adding weeks of waiting. Our lab is right next door, so your dentist and the lab technician work side by side. This means better communication, faster turnaround, and restorations that fit precisely the first time.
Planning with 3D imaging
We use CBCT 3D imaging and intraoral scanning to plan your implant placement with precision. These digital tools let us see your bone density, nerve locations, and sinus position before we begin — so there are fewer surprises and a more predictable result. No messy impressions needed.
Insurance and payment
Some PPO plans cover a portion of implant treatment. Denti-Cal (Medi-Cal Dental) coverage for implants is limited, but we can check your specific benefits. We also accept CareCredit for monthly payment plans, as well as credit cards and cash. We'll always go over costs with you before treatment begins.

How long does the implant process take?+
From placement to final crown, the process typically takes three to six months. Most of that time is healing — the actual appointments are relatively short. We'll give you a clear timeline at your consultation.
Are dental implants painful?+
The procedure is done under local anesthesia, so you shouldn't feel pain during placement. Most patients report mild soreness for a few days afterward, manageable with over-the-counter pain relief.
How long do implants last?+
With good oral hygiene and regular checkups, dental implants can last a lifetime. The crown on top may need replacement after 10 to 15 years due to normal wear.
Does Denti-Cal cover dental implants?+
Denti-Cal (Medi-Cal Dental) has limited coverage for implants. Coverage depends on medical necessity and your specific plan. We can check your eligibility and discuss alternative options if implants aren't covered.
What if I don't have enough bone for an implant?+
Our 3D imaging shows us exactly how much bone you have before anything is planned. If it isn't enough, we'll explain your options — which can include building up the bone before the implant, or an alternative such as a bridge or partial — and refer you to a specialist if that's the right call.
