What a visit looks like
Your visit starts with a friendly check-in at the front desk. We'll take digital x-rays if it's time, then one of our dentists will do a thorough exam and talk through what they see — in plain language, not jargon. If you need treatment, we'll explain your options and costs before anything starts. A routine cleaning and exam usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
Insurance and Denti-Cal
We accept Denti-Cal (Medi-Cal Dental), most PPO insurance plans, CareCredit, credit cards, and cash. If you have Denti-Cal, routine exams, cleanings, and fillings are covered benefits. Not sure about your plan? Call us — we'll look it up for you at no charge.

Most adults benefit from a checkup and cleaning every six months. If you have gum disease or other conditions, we may recommend visits every three to four months. We'll tell you what makes sense for your situation.
Do you accept walk-ins for cleanings?+
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. If you'd like to guarantee a specific time, you can also request an appointment online.
Are digital x-rays safe?+
Digital x-rays use significantly less radiation than traditional film x-rays — up to 80% less. They're safe for adults and children, and we can show you the images on screen right away.
Does Denti-Cal cover cleanings and fillings?+
Yes. Denti-Cal covers preventive services like exams, cleanings, and x-rays, as well as restorative services like fillings, for both adults and children.
What if I haven't been to the dentist in years?+
You're not alone — many of our patients are in the same situation. We never lecture or judge. We'll do a thorough exam, explain what we find, and work with you on a plan that fits your needs and budget.
